Our History
Redux was founded by a group of UC Berkeley Electical Engineering and Computer Science engineers passionate about combining technology they developed while at UC Berkeley with great user experiences to create a product used by millions everyday. We launched at the beginning of 2010 from our offices across campus. We have grown to a team of a dozen, grew 10x in 2011 passing 3.5 million monthly users, we're the top-downloaded app on Google TV, and will be on over 40 million Connected TVs by the end of 2012.
Redux is backed by a successful group of entrepreneurs and investors including Draper Fischer Jurvetson and Alsop-Louie partners. We're in Berkeley/Emeryville, where we enjoy working late and eating Indian food "Indian-spicy."
