my XP VM is not on the DJ laptop, I was just going to test it; but I guess I won't need MiK anyways. Screw Pulse. 64Studio comes with a working JACK Server all setup. JACK + Mixxx = Amazingly Low Latency!

sweet! unfortunately..windows and mac only. I'm a linux user and do all the DJing in Linux (See http://www.64studio.com/). I'll check it out in my XP virtual machine and maybe I can come up with a cross-platform version

www.mixedinkey.com endorsed by pretty much every top dj there is, without any backend bribing. i think there are some other programs that do something similar, though the interface here and support give MiK my vote.

That's useful feedback. Mixed in key? What's that? Also, I find that's it's actually harder to pay attention to mixing when the track selection is too good :) You won't believe it, but everything I've done so far has been only with one audio output (no headphones) and the waveform visualization courtesy of http://mixxx.org. These podcasts will sound a lot better once the Hercules Deejay Trim arrives. Also, any suggestions for better podcast soundbytes? Post it on the comments page there too. Thanks a bunch!

the only thing i noticed was a melodic key clash in the last two mashed-up tracks (both favorites of mine, so track selection props once again). have you ever tried Mixed in Key? i use it all the time and it is particularly handy in situations like that.

indeed it does, and her remix of One Day by Sultan/Ned Shepherd is still one of my favorites. i'll post some comments to your site as well, though overall this mix had the best energy flow from start to finish from any dojo sets i've heard...a perfect way to start my morning. oh, and that grey area "4 years off" (heh) remix was sweet.

nice....enjoy it, leave comments here, but preferably on the website itself as that'll help indexing. I'm trying to get a facebook plugin for the website too so if you become a fan, it'll write your comments straight to the wall on facebook. Thanks again guys! btw...on facebook, kristin schrot aka miss nine is a fan of DJE, if that means anything to you.

a very promising looking tracklist. grey area and two months off sounds like an infallible combo, and anything off of lost language gets my vote. podcast 09 and i have a date at the gym tomorrow morning :)
