The boy who reigned on dirt is now tennis' man for all seasons and surfaces. Champion at Roland Garros and Wimbledon and winner of the Olympic gold at Beijing, Rafael Nadal has made a business of snapping streaks and creating records. At 22 years of age, he's the world No. 1, having won five Grand Slam titles. Rafa's fourth straight French Open title made him the first player since Bjorn Borg (1978-81) to achieve the feat, and he also became the first player since the super Swede in 1980 to win in Paris without dropping a set. After claiming the Wimbledon title, beating Roger Federer in an epic contest (4 hours and 48 minutes) widely regarded as the best match ever played. Nadal became the first player since Borg in 1980 to win Roland Garros and Wimbledon titles in the same year. The win also ended Federer's record 65-match winning streak on grass.
