A day after Khamenei warned that continuing the protests would result in bloodshed, there are unconfirmed reports from Twitter that the black helicopters are dropping CS crystals on the protesters; various foreign embassies are providing medical treatment. Riot police and Basiji (religious police) are shooting tear gas and water cannons, surrounding the universities and hospitals, beating protesters as they get off the subway. Running battles reported throughout the streets of Tehran, Tabriz and Shiraz.

An extremely graphic video of a 27-year-old woman killed in the streets during an Iranian protest is now all over YouTube. People are comparing her to the Tank Man, and others are understandably upset that the video is even online. Obvious-but-necessary warning: the video (below) is incredibly disturbing.
