Those Canadians that died were in American uniform. Little known fact, you don't need to be an American citizen to join American armed forces. I did know a Canadian marine. All 105 (that's what the Ontario memorial claims died) were American soldiers

@Hux, ok, so the guy was just being petty and arguing with semantics. Coulter was making a trivial point and the guy focuses on that trying to demean the rest of her argument. 30,000 Canadians volunteered to serve in the conflict, they might as well have been deployed based on nationality. Also, the Canadian government involved itself in arms production and secret missions countering Communist infiltration. All in all, Coulter was right this guy was being petty at best, a liar at worst.

Honestly, I really think they were both wrong. Coulter is so fucking stupid, she is a sarah palin. However, he does badger her. To be honest, coulter was bested, however they were both petty... stay tuned for my next political post. Not that anyone but you and I care!

@Hux, re-read what you just wrote and tell me if "bouncing" to Belgium makes any sense. You realize Palin fights primarily against unions right? In Belgium, school unions have been firmly neutered by the vouchers system there. Which also explains why Belgians perform far better than Americans do on average.

A single Palin position isn't what is going to change my mind. I prefer a country with a westminister system (though not perfect, I find it a better system). Though Belgium has serious problems (including a possible civil war). However, nothing is perfect, I just dislike the super conservative side to her and ESPECIALLY Anne Coulter's type of conservatism. I think both are puppets as well.

@Hux, I assume by Westminster system you mean Parliamentary system--this has world more problems, which is why the UK is slowly shifting more to a Republican system in the past decade. As far as puppets go, just examine Obama's history. A decade ago he was a law professor in Chicago, and his colleagues all have come out and said he didn't do anything. He then rises to a member of Congress representing Chicago. I have a hard time believing he was solely responsible for his own political career.
