The only other remix officially approved by Mr. Marley's Estate
EugeneBelford:
seriously? this was definitely one of the better reinterpretations of a marley track, if not the best, though i had no idea it was "official" in any way.
Hux:
Yup, there were a lot of bootlegs, but the Marley estate would only let there name be used for these two songs

Hux:
Man, I had this and the other one on vinyl when I spun vinyl... I can't believe I sold it

One of only two Bob Marley remixes officially allowed by Mr. Marley's Estate
It is PV that used animation.
The character design is cartoonist, and REIJI MATSUMOTO in Japan.

I'm sorry. It buries, there is an invalid request, and it is not possible to see in TV mode. :-O

The video is so weird
Brent:
this almost seems like a joke, like it should be a parody. This video will probably be added to the banned videos group, for a number of reasons. Fucking creepy.

Brent:
How many product placements can you stuff in a video? I saw: Virgin Mobile, Plentyoffish, Wonderbread and Polaroid

noxinova:
also Dr. Dre Beats, Chanel, Coca Cola, LG, Kraft, Chevrolet. It's a commodity mess.

I wonder what it says about me that I don't think that video is weird at all. I liked it, but then I like most of what she does.

MHWD:
I am with missmolly, the video is bizarre but then that's one of the things I like about Lady GaGa! Hot song, hot ladies, hot video!

OK Go performs This Too Shall Pass in the craziest Rube Goldberg Machine you’ve ever seen. These guys sure know how to have fun with the music videos they create.

while yes was the proggiest of prog, i understand that yes fans would not consider this track as a faithful representation of either the band or the genre

Ah, Trevor Horn, so much you have given the world. [producer; also responsible for Buggles ("Video Killed the Radio Star"), Art of Noise, Seal's first album, etc etc.] I remember being told that this song (released in 1983) was one of the first major examples of digital sampling. Thanks for posting!

And the obligatory link to the terrible remix by Max Graham, but amusing video

@AndySchneider: You're right. "Real" fans can't stand this song or the album. And they blame it all on the guitarist, Trevor Rabin. You can look at it this way: the guy single-handedly revived the band, gained a new fan base and achieved Yes' biggest chart success.
I for one love both the song and the album. And I like old Yes albums as well. The biggest mistake for them was that they released this album under the Yes band name. If they had changed it, everybody would have been happy :) 2 weeks ago
