Vinyl is not dead, but how it is collected has changed. It's not the mainstream way to get and listen to music. Now it is more of a specialty item that goes for those that seek it out. It might be the sound quality, the album art, or the kitsch. Whatever it is, is something special that will still have a fan base for awhile.
