Neutrinos Slower Than Light
A few months ago, scientists at CERN had their panties all up in a bunch because of the discovery that neutrinos travel faster than light, which would change everything we know about physics and contradict Einstein's theory of relativity- opening up the doors for time travel. But that discovery has turned out to be an error :(
