April 17, 2012, marked a sad and historic day for space travel. NASA's space shuttle Discovery was retired, and made its final flight ever from Cape Canaveral to the Smithsonian museum. Space shuttle Endeavour and Atlantis will soon be flown to museums across the country later this year.
