Amazing Video: Giant Solar Flare Erupting from Sun Surface
On April 16th at approximately 5:45pm, a giant solar flare, the size of 10 earths, was photographed by NASA's SDO spacecraft. The image above shows what the solar flare looked like before detaching itself from the sun, and its height was 25 earth radii high.
