Though this documentary explores Jewish rappers and fashionistas as well as punks, all of these subcultures seek to merge the Hasidic Jewish faith with the DIY culture synonymous with punk. It's not really surprising that the melting-pot that is NYC would produce such a seemingly mismatched subculture as Jewish Punks.
