Menstruation in Kenya
Like most of the world, the major cities in Kenya treat menstruation with a blasé attitude. And yet, in the outlying rural communities, a menstruating woman is unclean. Their attitudes are steeped in superstition, believing that unless a women is isolated, she will bring great misfortune to her village.
