July 13, 2012 The American Civil Liberties Union has sued the state of Michigan and the Highland Park School District for failing to educate children. Illiteracy and subpar education in the Greater Detroit Area been a problem, so much so that the ACLU alleges the state has failed to uphold its education promises.
