Redux Ultra Dry & Charge

Fantastic product and excellent support

I love being able to charge and dry my hearing aids at the same time! The first couple of cycles took quite a long time, but after that I pop them in when I go to bed and when I get up, the drying cycle has completed. Sometimes the reactivation cycle is still running but I just remove the aids, close the cover, and let that cycle complete. That cycle runs maybe every 3 or 4 drying cycles and it's actually reassuring when it does because that tells me the system is working as it should. It is very quiet while running. No heat is involved when drying so any hearing aids, phone, airpods, etc., can safely be put in the dryer.

Needs to connect to the app

I like that it charges and dries my hearing aids at the same time, but my original dryer box connects to the app and tells me how much moisture was removed. I like using that data to know how frequently I should dry my stuff.

So far so good!

Delivery was fast. Set up and operating instructions in the booklet were clear. It seems to be functioning well. The real test will be when next I go to my next audiology appt and they run my aids in their industrial drier and let me know how good my Redux is doing. But I'm feeling really good about things. My Redux home dryer

I came across your home dryer watching Dr. Cliff videos on YouTube. I just purchased my first hearing aids about five weeks ago through ZipHearing. I sweat a lot, and I get out and walk 10,000+ steps a day and was concerned about water damaging my hearing aids. After my two-week follow-up they ran my aids in one of your Redux professional dryers and said there was 5.8 dL of water — they thought that was a crazy high amount. They agreed I'd benefit from a home dryer. I've been using it every night or every other night and typically it's reading 2–5 dL of water each time.

Pros and cons — does the basics well

This feels like a quality unit. Drying — the basics — it does well. Application is the weak point: on a Google Pixel 7 Pro, the app often crashes. It's one of the most basic apps ever; opening it takes you to a list of devices to connect to, and connection state is unreliable. Pros: good, hands-off device for drying. Cons: fails to deliver a usable, working application for the smartphone.

So happy to have this dryer!

My audiologist suggested this dryer when I asked for recommendations. In Texas right now it is very humid. My first drying was over 5 µL and so it told me to dry more frequently. I currently dry once a day and it registers 2–5 µL, and suggests I continue until this goes down. Highly recommended!!!

Good product

I use it to dry my hearing aid overnight while I sleep. The sensor with the Bluetooth connection always tells me that there is a lot of moisture in it from daily use. Most definitely dries better than the traditional small container with microwaveable bead thing.
